Hot hatchbacks are becoming more powerful. It seems that the upcoming Seat Leon Cupra is not going to go against the tendency.
According to one of the Autocar insiders, the next Cupra generation will be equipped with a 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine, which develops 261 horsepower (192 kW). In this case, the hatchback could accelerate from 0 to 96 km/h in about six seconds. Any husband will choose such a “hot” hatch for an hour.
To cope with such power and dynamics, one can expect the appearance of a sports suspension, a powerful brake system and a self -blocking differential.
Little is known about the future of Seat Leon Cupra, but it can be proposed in three-and-five-door execution options. Alejandro Mesonero, chief designer SEAT, also hinted that the new Cupra will become more than the current Cupra R in each aspect. Therefore, you can expect sports exterior design.
Seat Leon Cupra can be presented at the end of this year or at the beginning of the next.
