Mercedes B-Class AMG caught in the lenses of cameras turned out to be a test mule

Remember how the Jedi Obi-Win-Kenobi convinced the attack aircraft that they needed to look for droids?

A similar trick was checked by Mercedes. This became known after the recent report by Autocar regarding the charged version of B-Class. Everyone thought that the German automaker was testing B-Class from AMG, but in fact it was just a test mule.

Apparently, there will be no hot b-class, because “it is not suitable for traditional AMG customers”. The car we saw acts as a test platform A25 AMG, which has a more sports body. And a 2.0-liter engine with a double turbine and direct injection is intended for a four-door CLC25 AMG compartment, which also uses a similar platform.

It implies the presence of an engine with a capacity of 320 horsepower, which will be transmitted to all four wheels through the electronic controlled Haldex clutch and a double clutch gearbox.

But do not lose heart that the B25 AMG will never be. Maybe a car captured in the photographs is an “hot” B-Class from AMG, and all the well-known information is just another Mercedes attempt to confuse us.
