Lamborghini 350GT 1964-68

Launched in production in March 1964, the 350GT car was the first serial produced Lamborghini (Lamborghini).

The design of the body designed by “Touring” (Touring), completely new and much more elegant than the previously released prototype “350GTV”, made up panels of light alloys attached on a steel frame made, as usual, as usual, according to the principle of Superleggera. In the heart of the machine was a V-shaped duodencylinder engine with a collapse angle of 60 ° C by four distribution ramparts. For Lamborghini 350GT, the power was reduced to 270 liters. C, in addition, the serial engine was distinguished by side carburetors, which allowed to make the hood less high. A strong chassis, designed from round pipes, was attached to first -class twisted springs and a lever -type pendant, with disks made using the British company Girling.

A five -speed transmission from ZF Group was installed in the Lamborghini 350GT, and the differential mechanism of Salisbury was installed in the rear. This advanced structure was designed by novice talented developers of Giampaolo Dallara and Giotto Bizzarini, laying the basis for future models of Lamborghini.

Everything that lacked this unusually fast, stunningly smooth and maneuverable car with excellent control, developing speeds of up to 257 km/h, is a special “male” attractiveness. Refraining from the classic muscular features of the design, characteristic of the production of Pininfarin, the Milan “Touring” created a spectacular body body for Lamborghini – an unforgettably streamlined, durable, undoubtedly quite attractive.
