How to thermal insulation of block containers: the advantages of basalt

Conditioner manufacturers are always concerned about such a matter as thermal insulation, since this type of structure is intended for year-round location of people. Previously, mineral wool was the leading heater of the households, however, it includes chemicals unsafe for human health. To date, there is a safer type of insulation – basalt fiber, the starting raw materials of which are minerals of volcanic origin. Use it for the installation of roofs and hinged facades, and more recently for insulation of block containers.

Advantages of basalt fiber:

environmental friendliness;

low thermal conductivity (ideal for insulation);

small thickness (which is ideal for small block containers) and, as a result, the low cost of transportation;

resistance to temperature drops and seasonal fluctuations;

the ability to maintain the original shape (as well as thermal insulating properties) under the influence of aggressive substances for a long time;

excellent soundproofing properties;

fire safety (material does not burn);

not subject to rot and effects of mold/ fungi;

Long service life (about 40 years).
