But this is just “flowers” compared to the total income of the gambling industry in the state of Nevada. In 2013, the profit of all gambling establishments in Las Vegas amounted to $6.5 billion. In 2020, the total income of the Las Vegas Strip was $13.6 billion, of which almost $5 billion came from games.
And already in 2021, a record was set, in which for nine months in a row, the total income of the gambling industry in the state exceeded $1 billion dollars monthly!
Las Vegas has more than 120 casinos, and the number of slot machines in the city is more than 200,000!
Interesting fact. The biggest win in history – $40 million – was won in March 2003 by an American programmer (who preferred not to reveal his name) at the Excalibur casino in Las Vegas.
