Necessary materials and tools • a piece of plywood 8 mm thick (preferably polished);
• epoxy glue 250-280g;
• Wet foam – a large bottle;
• putty;
• fiberglass 0.8 mm thick and a size of a square meter;
• carbon foller 30×40;
• A pack of screws;
• skin;
• spray can with black matte paint;
• spray can of anti-gravity;
• electric jigsaw;
• knife, screwdriver;
• Electric drill.
First you need to make a power frame: cut four rings under the speaker and rounded base from the plywood sheet. To accurately determine the size of the rings, the speaker itself is used. The first two rings are cut a little smaller than the size of the nets so that they fit tightly into them, and the second in the landing diameter of the head. The door plastic pocket needs to be trimmed and attached to it a plywood base using glue. Two rings are glued together and knocked down with small cloves. The legs can be made from improvised materials, for example, from window stacks or chipboard. Their length is formed by trying on the columns. A hole similar to the opening is cut at the base in the base.
The next step is to combine the base and the prefabricated ring. To do this, provide the necessary angle of inclination of the speaker and the correct location. The focus of the frame occurs as follows:
• the legs are glued to the base and clogged with small cloves;
• after the glue dries, the entire structure will be skinned so that the rings fit tightly without cracks;
• Then the rings are glued to the legs.
To fill out the frame, instead of mounting foam, it is better to use a “wet” foam. In the usual form, it turns out loose, so it is necessary to act like this: squeeze two or three paths of foam on the cardboard, pour them with a small amount of water and knit bubbles with a knife. As a result of these actions, a liquid putty is formed, which is applied to approximately two layers. Such a consistency quickly dries and becomes like a dense foam. After hardening, the foam increases in volume. It is aligned with a skin, deriving the smooth shape of the bends.
Next, it is necessary to apply epoxy glue to the surface, lay the anglelet and cover with thick fiberglass the entire structure. The fabric should lie down exactly without folds. After drying, you need to cut off the excess, go through the skin along significant protrusions and level the surface with putty. Then you can put another layer of fiberglass and angle.
Now it is necessary to attach the structure to the sheathing of the door. From a piece of organ, a figure is cut the size of the size as a base and with the same neckline, it is glued on the other side of the podium. The podium is applied to the skin, the hole corresponding to the opening is outlined and cut out. Then a ring is made from plywood, the diameter of which is equal to the hole in the skin, and is attached to the base. The finished design was obtained, which must be attached to the door gland.
So that there are no cracks between the casing and the catwalk, you need to mix a little epoxy glue with sawdust. The dough -shaped mixture is applied to the base of the podium and applied to the skin. Excesses remove and fasten the podium with four screws. After the final drying, the podium must be fixed with self -tapping screws.
The final stage remains – painting. At first, “anti -grades” are applied to several layers, then black matte paint in 4 layers. The transition from plastic to the composite disappears, the podium becomes plain.
