Recently, it turned out that 30 % of all used cars that were sold in the capital are sent to the regions. As it turned out, to buy a supported car, a large number of regions residents are sent to Moscow, since in the capital there is more choice and prices below. But this applies only to cheap supported cars, expensive foreign cars after sale in the vast majority of cases remain in Moscow.

In Russia, in the used market, the car has long been happening that the sale or purchase of a car takes place in one region, and it is registered in another. And most often, residents of the province are sent to Moscow, they account for about 30 % of the purchases of supported cars. According to experts of the car market, the capital is oversaturated, this explains the emergence of a large number of buyers from the regions. It turned out that in certain regions of Russia there is a shortage of the proposal of some brands of supported cars, especially those that cannot be bought from official dealers. Therefore, buying a used car in Moscow is several times more profitable than in the province.Arkady Shmatov – Director of one of the Moscow service centers, reported an interesting detail. It turns out that in Russia a business has long been practiced in which resellers buy supported cars in Moscow, and then they are taken to the regions, where they are sold 15-20% more expensive.

Analysts of the service center found out where the supported cars are leaving. The leader of their list was the car brand – Renault. More than half of the cars of the French company are bought by the inhabitants of the province. About 15% of these machines are registered in the regions neighboring Moscow. It turns out that only a third of the French cars remain in the capital. This also applies to the cars of the Great Wall and Lada brand. As in the case of Renault, only the third part of the car sold remains in the capital, the rest of it leave.
