Three types of foundation: which one to choose, criteria

It is known to all those people who at least a little in construction that there are three varieties of the foundation, namely strip, continuous and pile. So the most difficult of them is precisely the pile foundation, which, as it is already understood by the use of special piles. And the piles, by the way, are very different. In principle, all piles can be divided according to the material of origin, that is, into piles of silt, wood and metal. At leisure it will not be superfluous to find out about the services of the site .

The main goal of piles is the transfer of the load from the building to that more durable and stable soil, which is located at a relatively large depth. That is, if on the surface the soil is too weak for arranging a strip foundation then piles are taken and clogged or screwed to the depth at which more solid soil will be present.

The construction of the pile foundation does not require volumetric earthwork, but it requires the use of special equipment, which is no less expensive.

It is worth noting that the piles are also divided by the method of transferring the load on the ground. There are swami racks and piles of hanging types. The former transfers the load on strong soils that lick under a layer of weak, and the latter transfer the load weak due to friction force.
