A correctly installed window in the house is a guarantee that there will be no deformations in the appearance of the house, and it is also warm and silence in the house.
Installation.
The main problem in installing windows is the shrinkage of the house. If you do not pay attention to this process, then the window can be deformed or it will simply crush heavy material.
First, a casing of three high -quality boards is made.
Polypropylene tape is attached to the ends of the frame.
The casing is attached to the frame using self -tapping screws.
A groove is cut in the center of the ends of the timber, into which, subsequently, a bar of the same size is inserted.
Outside the house, on the upper and lower parts of the opening, the boards are nailed. This is necessary to adjust the vertical position.
The box is attached to the bars that are installed in the grooves. Here you can use both nails and screws.
The gaps are filled with insulation material.
The boards that were fixed on the wall are removed.
Note:
The gaps formed between the casing and the upper edge should be equal to the maximum value of the shrinkage. If this is not taken into account, then the upper bars will exert excess pressure on the window.
